Dimple piercing problems... the answer!!

I have found the answer!

So I have been doing horribly in posting and doing my updates!!! But, I also was having a terrible time with my dimple piercings!! I had a horrible bump on both of them at one point and it was disgusting and gross and just looked like hell!!! but now!!! great news! I have powered through the horrible and uncomfortable point you will reach when you get these piercings done! Now my left one got the bump first, my right one was doing perfect no problems and looked amazing! so for my left one I did have to drain it, because there was fluid build up creating the bump. In other words i had a cyst on my damn face! so i drained it and within like 2 days the bump was gone :) yay!! it was great! then out of nowhere I woke up and found one on my other cheek after my dog had head butted me in my sleep! I was getting so tired and was temped to give up.. but then I found the answer!! this one was not willing to drain as easily as the other one, so I went out and picked up some EMU OIL!! (ahhhh) and like a miracle the skin softened over night and i was able to drain it! so again they basically just needed to be drained but emu oil has saved them! and it works great with my stretched ears. Emu oil basically is one of the greatest things i have found for my skin! I love and I would swear by it!! my cheeks are still healing as it does take about a solid year to heal but they are looking great feeling great and i am so happy with them!! yay!! Here are 3 pictures, the first one is of the gross bump (not at its worst but pretty gross) the other two are both piercings after I've used Emu Oil!! I will be using this on all of my piercings now! I love that it doesn't dry them out and helps the skin heal faster. Seriously it's super cheap and so worth it!
Till next time! 😆

Dimples Day Four!

Hello!!

So today I sadly had to go in and up size my jewellery to some larger posts. Overnight my beads slowly started to sink into my cheeks and eventually became flush with my skin. So I went back to my piercer and got him to give me some larger posts. It was no the funnest experience. The stupid new ones were having a hard time going through and was not the greatest feeling in the world. I was very happy though that I did not have to do it myself though. That would have been a gong show. In the end I am still happy a bit sore but happy that we were able to do so, so quickly. I just got back from the gym as well and there was no extra irritation from that which is nice. I was a bit worried all the blood going to my face would make my cheeks a bit more sore than usual but they were fine. For now though I have still been rinsing and doing my salt water cleanses on the outside of the piercings and so far so good! Until next time!

Dimple Piercings Day Three!!

Day three!!

Sorry I missed day two, but day two for me was a breeze and I still felt no pain or irritation. So far I have been using medical grade mouthwash, as the last time I used only salt water. I have heard nothing but good things using the mouthwash so I thought I would give it a try! Now I am a makeup artist and of course always wear makeup.
I have been using the Vichy liquid foundation and staying about half an inch away from my new piercings. I have been taking more precaution than I did the first time and I am also using the Vichy facial cleanser that contains no soap. I have been washing my face every morning and night around the jewellery and then rinsing with a damp cloth around the piercings to ensure I don't get any of my cleanser on them.
So far, the left one is doing great! Right now the right one is a bit indented into the skin on the outside of my cheek due to some swelling. I have been using the salt water on the outside of my cheeks using the cap of a sanitary water bottle just so that it fits over easier.
Due to the salt water drying the heck out of my skin, I have been using the Avon Anew Ultimate day cream around the jewellery NOT touching the piercings or jewellery just gently tapping it on the dry skin around them. The inside of my cheeks are only slightly indented right now with minimal swelling and no pain as well.
Also a lot of people have told me that piercing through the scar tissue would be WAY more painful than the original piercing and that they were unable to go through the same area. This is very false. When you get your initial piercing done, it actually severs most of the nerve endings in that area of the needle.
Due to the severed nerve endings there will actually be little to no pain when re-piercing the same area. I honestly barely felt it, I felt the needle touch the outside of my cheek and took 2 deep breaths and voila! Done like the easiest piercing I've had.
Now obviously everyone is different, not all piercings sever the nerve endings. Some people have little to no nerve damage when getting pierced. Mine definitely were, and I'm glad. Although when I got them done the first time it was also quite an easy process, when I want a piercing I do as much research and make sure I am prepared for the pain there might be.
Anyways! I have been trying to take as much precaution as possible. If anyone has anymore tips or tricks feel free to contact me!
Until tomorrow!

Hey everyone!
Just for anyone who may be interested in getting their dimples pierced, I had mine re - pierced this evening.  Ill keep posting pictures and any information about them I know. So far day one is going very well.  I went to the same guy who did them before and he was fantastic!  Hurt less than before and was quick, easy and seemingly painless. Im very pleased with the results! Its been a few hours and still no pain just a tad sore but nothing out of the ordinary.  Love them! Ill keep you posted!
